Kevin Durant's old number has bigger meaning to two-way signee PJ Dozier

PJ Dozier's arrival in Oklahoma City was surprising. Not because of his two-way contract, but because of what he was wearing.

The rookie wore a No. 35 practice jersey Tuesday as he worked on 3-point shooting with new teammate Josh Huestis.

The last and only Thunder player to wear No. 35 was Kevin Durant.

The number likely will be retired by the Thunder someday, but for now it belongs to Dozier, who will play for the Oklahoma City Blue of the G League and, under his new two-way contract, can spend up to 45 days with the Thunder.
