Back in the summer of 2010, Kevin Durant was just 21 years old, leading the United States to its first FIBA World Championship in more than a decade.
One of his mentors on that team? Former NBA All-Star Lamar Odom.
Odom is still fighting for his life in a Las Vegas hospital after being found unconscious and unresponsive earlier this week in a Nevada brothel. When asked Thursday about what made Odom special as a player, Durant let out a breath before getting into Odom's versatility and how much the two-time NBA champion has meant to his career.
