This is the third time Kevin Durant has visited Positive Tomorrows, an elementary school that serves a very specific group of children.
According to the school’s website, these children are homeless. Positive Tomorrows provides “stability and a quality education,” something that has been lacking in these young lives. They provide kids with food, transportation and basic necessities, all while “their parents get the support they need to create a better life.” Sometimes, that better life comes and sometimes it doesn’t.
But Durant has long been committed to Oklahoma City, and improving his community, particularly its children.
