Anthony Morrow read a book to a group of first graders on Thursday, and after the virtual class came a question and answer session. A teacher asked Morrow which organization he most enjoyed playing for.
There were plenty of choices. Morrow suited up for seven teams in his nine-year NBA career.
“With no hesitation it was OKC,” Morrow told The Oklahoman. “Just the way they take care of you as a human being. It's deeper than basketball.”
The Thunder, in a commitment to taking care of its former players, was set to launch the Thunder Legacy Network before the season was suspended due to the coronavirus outbreak.
