ORLANDO – Dennis Schroder comes alive in the second half of games.
“First half, I’m not aggressive,” Schroder said. “I’m just trying to be out there and play defense. The second half, it just turns.”
Schroder was a second-half star on Tuesday, scoring 18 points in the first seven minutes of the fourth quarter against the Magic
“Dennis I thought played an incredible second half in every aspect – defensively and offensively – and obviously gave us great separation there in the fourth quarter,” Thunder coach Billy Donovan said.
For the season, Schroder is shooting 39 percent from 3 in the second half of games to just 29.
