The communication has been sharper, the rotations crisper. In essence, the Thunder has simply been more connected on the defensive end of the floor over the past few games, and that’s the type of progress Head Coach Billy Donovan wants to see.
Coming off of a back-to-back set with wins over the Dallas Mavericks and Utah Jazz, the Thunder had a chance to self-evaluate, accentuating areas where it performed well and honing in on some fine details to improve. It will be a continued process over the course of the season for the Thunder to get where it wants to be, and it continues tonight against the Brooklyn Nets.
