The emails started arriving Wednesday evening.
Subject: Want in Russell Westbrook's epic summer party?
The body of the email was as cryptic as the subject line. It contained no address, no time. Only a logo for the Summer Hype House Party, a date and a short message.
"Russell Westbrook invites you and three guests to team up with him at the ultimate summer bash — are you in?"
It looked like spam.
It wasn't.
A week ago Saturday, Russell Westbrook actually did throw an epic summer party. It's still being talked about — Paul George announced during the shindig that he was staying in Oklahoma City and re-signing with the Thunder.
