The Thunder’s 108-104 loss to the 76ers Thursday was its third in four games out of the All-Star break, marking the first time since Billy Donovan’s first year at the helm that the Thunder has had a losing record in its first four games of the unofficial second half of the season.
But strictly record-wise, the Thunder's performance right out of the All-Star break hasn't revealed much about the rest of the season during Donovan's tenure.
OKC went 3-1 out of the break in the previous two seasons. In the 2015-2016 season, the Thunder lost to the Cavaliers, Pacers and Pelicans – who ranged from the best team in the East to one of the worst in the West – but beat the Mavericks.
