In the Thunder’s first preseason game against Dallas, Chris Paul and Dennis Schroder were looking up at the Mavericks’ starting guards.
It’s preseason, so the Thunder didn’t have a ton of time against lineups where the 6-foot Paul and the 6-1 Schroder were overmatched physically. When the season starts, however, 15 minutes a night of Paul and Schroder together on defense might give other teams an advantage.
The Thunder went back to a more traditional lineup against the New Zealand Breakers, starting the 6-7 Terrance Ferguson and 6-6 Shai Gilgeous-Alexander on the wing alongside Paul, with Schroder coming off the bench.
