Thunder forward Steve Novak had a library full of second graders at Rockwood Elementary staring with rapt attention. The veteran was heightening the drama, ensuring that the kids believed he was the only guest in attendance at their school. He even urged the students to proclaim that he was their favorite Thunder player.
Then, popping out from his hiding place around the corner, Kevin Durant emerged. Surprise, laughter and smiles ensued, as the students had to then decide who their favorite Thunder player truly was.
The Thunder duo proceeded to settle in, lounging in arm chairs and armed with a book to read to the kids.
