Chris Paul flashed a rare mid-game smile.
He had just gone up against two Nets defenders and won. Paul dribbled in from the 3-point line, shifting and driving, and finally draining a jump shot over Brooklyn center Jarrett Allen.
In what would become a 111-103 Thunder victory, Paul had just expanded OKC’s lead to four points in overtime.
“His midrange game is ridiculous,” Thunder center Steven Adams said on the Fox Sports Oklahoma broadcast.
The win Tuesday at Barclays Center gave the Thunder (21-16) a 4-0 record in overtime this season. Paul scored 20 points in the fourth quarter and overtime combined.
