Shai Gilgeous-Alexander found Hamidou Diallo on a half-court outlet pass Saturday, leaving Diallo and Pelicans guard JJ Redick in a race to the rim. The 35-year-old Redick pulled a savvy move. He jetted past the basket and out of Diallo’s way before the Thunder 21-year-old skied for a slam.
Diallo, who treated Saturday’s game like a defense of his slam dunk title, had an even flashier windmill dunk in the second quarter. He waved his arms to pump up the crowd. Everyone on the Thunder bench stood in awe.
Diallo has seven dunks this season — second on the team behind Nerlens Noel’s nine.
