You know what? I’m perfectly content with tonight’s win. The OKC Thunder didn’t play particularly well against an NBA bottom-feeder, nor did they give their stars an opportunity to rest before Tuesday’s quick turnaround against the Atlanta Hawks.
But they won – that’s all we can ask for at this stage of the season.
Monday night’s game was not visually pleasing. Both teams came out of the gate sloppy with missed open shots and turnovers, resulting in a combined 35 points through the first 12 minutes. Oklahoma City’s defense was especially lockdown – as the game went on so did their intensity on that end.
