Everyone knows the Wizards were under performing coming into tonight’s game, but the OKC Thunder had some obstacles in front of them as well.
The Thunder were on a second night of a back-to-back, going against a Wizards team that most believe are a playoff team in the east, and had to overcome the shooting woes of the first few games of the season.
This match was about as close as it gets to must win for the Wizards. There were ample story lines at play with Dwight Howard and his sore piriformis muscle (a muscle located near the gluteus maximus) making his season debut.
