Five Oklahoma superstars are featured on Forbes' 16th Annual Celebrity 100 List. The list, revealed today, includes athletes, musicians, actors, media personalities and authors from around the world.
Country music megastar Garth Brooks, who was born in Tulsa and raised in Yukon, comes in at No. 6 on the list after making a successful comeback to music in 2014 after about a dozen years of semi-retirement. According to Forbes, Brooks earned $90 million from June 2014 to June 2015, largely because he has been grossing well over $1 million at every stop on his sold-out tour, partly because he's been playing back-to-back shows in the same arena on the same night.
