Prior to this season, the OKC Thunder had not won in Portland since February 11, 2014. After winning 129-120 in overtime on Thursday evening, Oklahoma City completed their second season sweep in franchise history over the Blazers.
Russell Westbrook and Paul George were masterful for the most part. Russ scored 37 points, while PG chipped in 32 points of his own. However, Russ committed eight turnovers, including a costly giveaway late, which gave Damian Lillard one final opportunity to win it for Rip City in regulation.
As for George, over 50 percent of his offense was created at the foul line.
