Every professional athlete should have a backup plan. Some of them start that plan in college with journalism or communications studies. Some are entrepreneurs or businessmen. Some are photogenic and will have endorsement/modeling work for decades. Some probably dream of being a veterinarian or maybe a ballet dancer.

Regardless of what Perk did outside of basketball, I have no doubts that he'd be "big" and "grumpy" while doing it.
