LAS VEGAS — The barbecue was delicious. The basketball was productive.
And there's not a lot more Deonte Burton can say about his year playing in Korea.
“It was … boring,” said Burton, the 6-foot-5 guard who on Saturday signed a two-way contact with the Thunder and played a game for its Summer League team. “It was really boring. But I got in the gym a lot, so I went home and I was in the gym. That was the two things that I did.”
But the year paid off.
The contract Burton signed on Saturday might or might not mean he's splitting time between the Thunder and the G League's Oklahoma City Blue.
