How is this going to work?
For all the questions about how Carmelo Anthony and how he would fit around the ball-dominant play of Russell Westbrook and Paul George, the same questions remain for the Thunder in his wake.
Anthony is gone, replaced by Dennis Schroder and Timothy Luwawu-Cabarrot as part of a three-team trade. The deal will be more of a remedy to the Thunder's financial burdens than its on-court concerns, unless Schroder, the centerpiece of the deal, shines.
Schroder's strengths
While the Thunder saved millions in turning Anthony into Schroder and Luwawu-Cabarrot, there's still a dearth of efficient long-range shooters.
