That pixelated scene is the opening of Thunder Run — a 16-bit retro video game originally intended to highlight Thunder players who are in contention for postseason awards. Released last week, the game now serves as a distraction for Thunder fans trying to speed through their quarantines.
The Thunder partnered with Sparkbox, a web development company based in Dayton, Ohio, to create the game. Users can select from Chris Paul, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Danilo Gallinari, Dennis Schroder and Steven Adams.
