Doug Collins compares Westbrook's tenacity to Michael Jordan's

I love talking to Doug Collins. Gone from player to coach to broadcaster in the NBA. Super guy. Down to Earth. Insightful.

He’s seen it all. How many guys do you know who played for Henry Iba and called the games of Russell Westbrook? Collins did. He was on the 1972 Olympic team coached by Iba, then played eight NBA seasons. Collins coached 11 years in the NBA, for Chicago, Detroit, Washington and Philadelphia; his career record was 442-407. Collins was a TNT analyst between coaching stints and now is an ESPN analyst.

Collins called the Thunder-Milwaukee game Tuesday night, when Westbrook matched Oscar Robertson’s NBA record of 41 triple doubles in a single season.
