ORLANDO, Fla. – Anthony Grant reportedly is among the candidates for the head coaching job at at the University of Dayton, but Thunder coach Billy Donovan said there’s “nothing necessarily to report” on his assistant coach’s candidacy.
ESPN reported on Wednesday that Grant is among the candidates to replace Flyers head coach Archie Miller, who last Saturday took the same position at Indiana.
“He’s a good coach, and there’s gonna be people that are gonna want to inquire about him,” Donovan said of Grant, who played at Dayton from 1983-87. “Dayton is his alma mater.
