On Tuesday, Thunder fans were again surprised at a sudden – although foreseeable – trade sending Perry Jones to the Boston Celtics. The Celtics will also receive cash considerations and the Pistons’ 2019 second-round pick, which was acquired by OKC in the deal that sent point guard Reggie Jackson to Detroit.
The events of the last season have left many fans wondering why the Thunder traded away Jones, Jeremy Lamb and Reggie Jackson. Clearly, general manager Sam Presti is lowering salary wherever he can.
