Trying to guess how rookies will transfer to the NBA is always a sketchy proposition. After all, aside from everything else they have to learn to handle off the court, rookies have an entirely new landscape to adjust to on it. From learning how to fill a role for the first time to figuring out the complexities and nuances of defense at the highest level of the game.
Luckily, the OKC Thunder rookies are going to have their work pretty much cut out for them this year.
Like most rookies who join winning teams–aside from rare exceptions like Jayson Tatum last year–OKC’s aren’t going to be asked to do much.
