Nothing could have prepared Mitch McGary for the rollercoaster of a rookie NBA season that he had. Still, his energy, enthusiasm and smile were on display for all 82 games.
Through an injury in his first preseason game, a setback after returning to play in December, a burst onto the NBA scene with back-to-back double-doubles just before the All-Star Break and then up-and-down minutes and production for the rest of the season, McGary faced the gamut of experiences in his first year. He took everything in stride, was constantly encouraging teammates and left it all on the floor when his number was called.
