Carmelo Anthony is in his 15th season as an NBA player. He's seen a lot of basketball and a lot of officiating.
He's also seen the game change, and with that change has come an evolution in the relationship between players and officials.
"The game’s changed a lot since I’ve come in 15 years ago," Anthony said Tuesday at Thunder shootaround when asked about the importance of communication and relationships with officials. "The players and the officials had that dialogue. Whether it was good, whether it was bad, there was always that point where they would let you get a little steam off, then come to you and say ‘OK, that’s enough, let’s move on.
