Jontay Porter, like his brother, had an interesting path to the NBA Draft, The can’t miss prospect dazzled the high school basketball scene in Missouri, before electing to stay home and play for the Missouri Tigers. Porter, had a stellar freshman campaign where he flashed all the abilities of a modern-day NBA player. The 6’11 center shot from beyond the arc at a .36 percent rate in 2017-18 and made a huge impact in lifting the Tigers to the NCAA Tournament that year.
However, like his brother Michael Porter Jr., who was the 14th pick in last year’s NBA Draft that has yet to see the floor for the Denver Nuggets, Jontay Porter also has injury concerns.
