Blake Griffin creating 'White Men Can't Jump' remake

Is Blake Griffin going to star in a remake of one of the greatest basketball movies of all time?

Who knows as of now, but Griffin is co-oping with Carolina Panthers offensive lineman Ryan Kalil and "Black-ish" creator Kenya Barris for a remake of early-90's hit "White Men Can't Jump."

Per Variety.com, Barris will be producer and write the script. Mortal Media – a production company invested in by Griffin, Kalil and partner Noah Weinstein – will produce the film.

The first iteration of "White Men Can't Jump" was released in 1992 and starred Wesley Snipes and Woody Harrelson, who played streetball hustlers.
