Andre Roberson is on track to return for Thunder training camp.
The defense-oriented guard broke the news in his exit interview Thursday, his first media availability since preseason. Roberson has been out since rupturing his left patellar tendon in a game against Detroit on Jan. 27, 2018. He suffered multiple setbacks, including, most recently, an avulsion fracture in late November
“By me rupturing my patellar tendon it kind of shut off the blood supply to the patellar bone, which causes it to be weaker,” he said. “And then when I was coming back I was working harder than the revascularizing of the tendon was happening, so you kind of see where the problem was there, and we did not know that at the time, unfortunately.
