Adams is a late scratch from Thunder starting lineup

Steven Adams was a late scratch from the Thunder’s starting lineup against the Suns at Chesapeake Energy Arena Saturday, due to left calf tightness before the game, per the Thunder. Nerlens Noel started in his place.

Adams was averaging 14 points and 12.3 rebounds per game through four games. Noel made his first start of the season. He entered Sunday’s game averaging 13.9 minutes, 6.3 points and 5.3 rebounds per game.

Hamidou Diallo was listed as inactive for the game, after missing the Thunder’s walkthrough earlier in the day.
