Before I get started with the basis of this article, I’m going to list the 2014-2015 season averages in major statistical categories, as well as the Player Efficiency Rating, for three different players. I want you, the reader, to decide which is the most impressive and which is the least impressive:
Player A: 28.1 PPG, 7.3 RPG, 8.6 APG, PER 29.12
Player B: 23.8 PPG, 4.3 RPG, 7.7 APG, PER 28.06
Player C: 27.4 PPG, 5.7 RPG, 7 APG, PER 26.76
To me, it’s obvious that Player A is the superior individual player in pretty much every way.
