The Oklahoma City Thunder, Brooklyn Nets, and Charlotte Hornets are in talks to finalize a three-team trade, according to ESPN's Chris Broussard.
OKC would receive center Brook Lopez from the Nets, while Brooklyn would receive Lance Stephenson from the Hornets and Kendrick Perkins from the Thunder.
Charlotte would get Jeremy Lamb from the Thunder and Jarrett Jack from the Nets.
Brooklyn has been unhappy with Lopez's dip in production, and have been trying to get of him (and his hefty contract) for a few months. On the flip side, Oklahoma City will be getting a former All-Star to give a much-needed boost to their big man rotation. Lopez is averaging 14.6 points and 6.3 assists in 26.3 minutes a game so far this season.
Charlotte has also been trying to deal Lance Stephenson, who was their big-name free agent signing this offseason, since the season started because of the chemistry issues he's created in the locker room. The Brooklyn native will be returning to his hometown, but he's been disappointing on the court, averaging 10.1 points, 6.6 rebounds, and 4.7 assists in 32.2 minutes a game.
Jeremy Lamb (8.4 ppg, 3.1 apg) and Jarrett Jack (10.8 ppg, 4.8 apg) will give a boost to Charlotte's bench.
