Russell Westbrook recorded his eight triple-double of season on Friday night in the Oklahoma City Thunder's 113-99 win over the Minnesota Timberwolves, posting 29 points, 12 assists, and 10 rebounds. However, it's his 10th rebound which has come up as the center of controversy.
Some eyewitnesses reported that Westbrook openly lobbied the official scorer for a late scoring change that ended up giving him his 10th rebound on a called tip:
Westbrook just looked over at OKC's official scorekeepers and said, "Tip? Tip?" As in he tipped that last rebound. Wants the trip-dub.

Regardless of whether it was or wasn't a rebound (it wasn't), Westbrook wasn't having it after the game when questioned on if he had actually asked the official scorer to change the ruling:
Westbrook denied after the game that he was campaigning for the rebound.
"Uhh, no," Westbrook said.
Pressed on the subject, he said, "No," unleashing a trademark glare.
Never change, Russell. Never.
