Everything Kevin Durant does for the next two seasons will be dissected and picked apart to try and draw some indication about where he may sign during his impending free agency in 2016.
Many are speculating that he'll follow LeBron James' lead and "return home" to play for his hometown Washington Wizards.
Durant has said that he's solely focused on playing for the Oklahoma City Thunder, but this tweet certainly won't help things.
A fan tweeted that they want Kevin Durant to return home like LeBron James and he responded, "just wait on it." Pic: pic.twitter.com/5Z1e21KtMb

That "fan" was ESPN reporter Britt McHenry, who's also from the Washington, D.C. area. However, Durant insisted it wasn't about playing for the Wizards.
@AlexKennedyNBA thats actually a lie. She didnt ask me about that, she asked me about shootin a commercial back in my hometown. Get it right

The initial tweet definitely said she wanted KD "back in PG" but it makes sense that KD didn't understand what she was saying.

Durant is coming off of his first MVP award and is expected to miss the first couple months of the NBA season due to a broken foot.
