The Oklahoma City Thunder have a potentially defining offseason ahead of them with superstar Kevin Durant's free agency, and while re-signing him is obviously priority No. 1, 2 & 3 for this team, they still have their eyes on other free agents that could help them win a championship. Here are three free agents they should target this summer:
3) Jared Dudley
Dudley's an unrestricted free agent, and while he wouldn't be anything more than a spot bench player for OKC, he's a career 40 percent shooter and capable defender that would bring a veteran presence to this team. The Thunder could sign him if they decline Anthony Morrow's team option, and Dudley may actually be an upgrade given his defensive ability.
2) Kent Bazemore
Bazemore has developed into a true 3-and-D player in Atlanta - the exact kind of player that Oklahoma City covets and needs. They may have trouble creating the cap space to sign him and would likely have to get rid of both Morrow and Dion Waiters (or do a sign-and-trade), but he would be a impact player for the Thunder.
1) Courtney Lee
Dion Waiters was a crucial part of Oklahoma City's attack this year, but if the Thunder can't match whatever offers he gets on the open market, Lee would be a very capable replacement. He's not the explosive offensive threat Waiters is, but he is a reliable shooter and slasher capable of putting up numbers off the bench. He is also a very good defender and would be an upgrade over Waiters in that sense.
