The Big Ten named Ohio State senior guard Ameryst Alston its player of the week for the third time in her career on Monday.
Alston averaged 22 points while leading the first-place Buckeyes to victories over Maryland, Iowa and Penn State.
She topped 2,000 points for her career in the win at Iowa and moved into fourth place in program history with 2,032 points during Sunday's victory at Penn State. Alston made a career-high eight three-point field goals against the Lady Lions.
Alston also averaged six assists and four rebounds in the wins, while going 14-for-28 from beyond the three-point arc.
