If Ohio State can get off to a fast start against Minnesota it could be an easy win for the Buckeyes. But if the Gophers can keep the game close until halftime it could be a battle to the end.
In three of Minnesota’s four losses this season they have trailed by at least 10 points going into intermission. Their offense is simply not explosive enough to overcome a big deficit in the second half.
The Gophers are ranked number 83 in the country in both rushing and passing this season. They play a ball control offense and rely heavily on their defense, ranked 25th in the nation, to keep the game close.
