Since then, OSU had played three games, going 2-1, before Thursday’s matchup in Madison. The Badgers on the other hand have gone 5-0 and risen from unranked following the loss to No. 13 in the country. Before the game, the Buckeyes and Badgers were tied for second in the Big Ten standings. After the game, not so much.
