COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Urban Meyer has a thing he says around this time every year, and then at other points during the Ohio State football season.
He wants to play his freshmen, and doesn't like to sign talent only to have those guys never see the field in their first years. Only that typically doesn't happen.
That's hard to do at a place like Ohio State, especially during a season like last year's when the Buckeyes had so much back and few openings for young players to step in. That's why Ohio State only played four true freshmen in 2015.
