Make it two solid practices in a row for Will Howard.
After Howard had his best practice at Ohio State on Friday, the Kansas State transfer put together another strong performance on Saturday, consistently producing with his arm and legs. As Howard makes his case for the Buckeyes' coveted QB1 title, Julian Sayin and Devin Brown remained Ohio State's next-best performers at the position.
Ohio State's right guard battle continued between Carson Hinzman and Tegra Tshabola on Saturday. Hinzman also took reps at center behind Seth McLaughlin, as did Luke Montgomery and Josh Padilla. Meanwhile, freshmen James Peoples and Sam Williams-Dixon are both impressive as they vie for the Buckeyes' third running back spot behind TreVeyon Henderson and Quinshon Judkins.
