One of the stories in the week following the 49-26 victory for the No. 3 Ohio State Buckeyes over the Indiana Hoosiers has been the health of OSU’s defense. With Nick Bosa already on the shelf for at least a few more weeks, head coach Urban Meyer announced this week that both Malik Harrison and Jonathon Cooper had been put in the concussion protocol.
As of now, we don’t know if either the linebacker or defensive end will play, but with more and more defensive starters going down each week, it is likely going to become more and more difficult for Greg Schiano and the defensive coaching staff to address the issues that the Buckeyes have had this year in giving up an inordinate amount of big plays.
