What's probably worse than a really garbage loss against a supposedly inferior opponent is the idea that a lot of if felt inevitable. Ohio State's pass defense had been getting progressively worse as the season wore on, their running game was increasingly nonexistent, and though the passing game has been putting up huge numbers, it turns out that doesn't really matter too much when you can't get your opponent off the field!
The good news is that the Buckeyes have some time to fix at least a little bit of these seemingly endemic issues within the program before they have to take on the likes of Sparty and Michigan.
