Ohio State's season opener at Virginia Tech on Labor Day won't just serve as a high-profile start to its national title defense, but it will also allow the Buckeyes to check in on their latest commitment for 2016.
Cornerback Wayne Davis, a 4-star prospect from Norfolk, VA, took to Twitter on Thursday to announce he'd chosen OSU over Michigan and Virginia Tech:

Davis had more than 20 scholarship offers, most recently picking up ones from Maryland and Michigan State.
