Archie Griffin waited inside the Woody Hayes Athletic Center, unaware of what would happen next.
Donning a gray Ohio State hat and polo, Griffin stood next to the Buckeyes' seven Heisman Trophies. He won two of them as the program's running back in 1974 and 1975. To his surprise, the Ohio State marching band's sousaphone players entered the room.
"Oh, my goodness," Griffin said, looking around the room and chuckling.
Senior Nick Pisanelli introduced himself to Griffin and handed him an envelope.
"Take a read," Pisanelli instructed.
As for the rest – well, you should watch the video.
