Ohio State basketball is hard at work preparing for its first season under Jake Diebler even though it won't tip off its first contest until November.
There are a load of new faces to get ingrained in the system and develop chemistry, including transfers Meechie Johnson Jr., Aaron Bradshaw, Sean Stewart and Micah Parrish. They join freshmen Juni Mobley and Colin White as players getting acclimated to Columbus this summer.
Johnson did not participate in the workout but stood off to the side and helped lead and coach up his teammates. A spokesperson for the Buckeyes said it's more a case of load management than anything else.
