On Sunday, the Virginia Tech Hokies unveiled a metallic orange helmet that will be worn for their Sept. 7 opener against the defending national champion Ohio State Buckeyes in Blacksburg.
However, there is something else special about the lids the Hokies will wear in the season-opener.
According to Andy Bitter of the Roanoke Times, Virginia Tech will be wearing decals to honor the WDBJ shooting victims who were gunned down on live television.
