In the late 1980s, Nike produced a series of commercials featuring Michael Jordan and Mars Blackmon, the star of the 1986 film She's Gotta Have It, played by Spike Lee.
The iconic spots, which featured a Blackmon obsessed with the shoes Jordan wore were instant successes and helped create the sneaker industrial complex we live with today.
Ohio State has it's own Shoe, and it's pretty damn impressive in its own right, so the Buckeyes cut their own version of the spot featuring offensive lineman Michael Jordan and Brooklyn native Curtis Samuel.
