Notre Dame finally got off the bus for the Fiesta Bowl after Joey Bosa's targeting ejection and got on the board midway through the second quarter to make it 14-7, Ohio State.
The Buckeyes responded with an 11-play, 62-yard uptempo drive in which Ezekiel Elliott was the coal that propelled the train. The ending touchdown is Elliott's second of the game.
Sean Nuernberger promptly made it 21-14.
