We’re getting a better picture of what Urban Meyer will be doing at Ohio State following the Rose Bowl. After seven seasons at the helm of the Ohio State Buckeyes football program, Meyer will be transitioning into a role as an assistant athletic director. From an office standpoint, he’ll be going from the Woody Hayes Athletic Center to the Fawcett Center, located across the street from the WHAC.
The three-time national championship winning coach will help with fundraising, speaking engagements, and see the development of other coaches at Ohio State.
If there was any fear that Meyer would try to impose undue influence over Ryan Day and his handling of the football program, athletic director Gene Smith squashed any potential of that in an interview with Cleveland.
