Urban Meyer: J.T. Barrett '100 Percent, Ready to Go'

CHICAGO — Ohio State quarterback J.T. Barrett has completely healed from his fractured ankle suffered during the fourth quarter of the Buckeyes' 42-28 win over Michigan last season, head coach Urban Meyer said Thursday at Big Ten Media Days.

“J.T.’s 100 percent, ready to go,” Meyer said to a group of reporters following his press conference.

Barrett had a record-breaking season for Ohio State in 2014 prior to his injury, throwing for 2,834 yards and 34 touchdowns while rushing for an additional 938 yards and 11 scores. He took over for Braxton Miller when Miller went down with a season-ending injury 12 days before the Buckeyes opened their 2014 season.
